Wine tasting at West London Aero Club a success
The Flying Wine Club held its first wine tasting event at The West London Aero Club on Friday 22nd May. Chris Dale of the Flying Wine Club said, “Around 20 people attended and West London Aero Club have booked another event in September due to demand.”The Flying Wine Club’s expert, Jonny Gibson, presented a range of seven wines from Europe and talked about the winemakers, the regions and the grapes. WLAC’s caterers, Sandra and Gavin, provided matching canap�s to bring out the flavour of each wine.Alec, a WLAC member said, “This was the best wine tasting I have ever been to – good fun, interesting and not stuffy!” Working in conjunction with Wine Discoveries Ltd, The Flying Wine Club can offer all flying clubs and schools a wine tasting event. Chris adds, “In addition we have had requests from WLAC club members who want to help organise fly-outs to some of our vineyards in France – again another benefit of The Flying Wine Club.”The wine club is supported by an e-commerce website, with easy online ordering. Flying club members can register to receive monthly e-newsletters and information about bin end offers and case parcels. This affiliate scheme enables all Flying Clubs to offer their members an exciting new additional benefit.
