Flight training company purchases eight aircraft from Diamond

Spanish flight training organisation FTEJerez has purchased eight aircraft from Diamond.

Spanish flight training organisation FTEJerez has purchased eight aircraft from Diamond.

The company announced an order for up to eight DA42s, as well as two Diamond Simulation FNPTII flight training devices.

Its order has a list-price value of €6 million.

FTEJerez – which is based in Jerez de la Frontera in Spain – currently has twenty Piper Warriors and seven Piper Senecas, as well as accompanying training devices.

The first two Diamond DA 42-VI twin-engined aircraft are expected to be delivered before the end of the year, with further deliveries expected in 2013.
