The British Microlight Aircraft Association (BMAA) has announced UK approval of the BMW-powered Exodus DeltaJet 500 StingRay.

Compared to the version powered by the Rotax 912ULS engine, the BMW-powered version showed ‘an increased climb rate and reduced takeoff run’, the BMAA said, adding that ‘the new model is available as factory-built [only] from Exodus Airsports / Flylight Airsports’. There are also some maintenance differences compared to the Rotax version.
